There are three recall status types that might display after you look up a VIN for safety recalls:
Searchable by VIN:
After the expiration date, inspection/repair will be done at the owner’s expense.
Not Searchable by VIN:
After the expiration date, inspection/repair will be done at the owner’s expense.
